According to konami's press release, Pro Evolution Soccer 3 (Pes3) will improve on its predecessors in a number of ways such as 1. You will be able to select which referee you want to ref the match. 2. Select whether players fatigue is on or off  3. You can choose to play as one person e.g. play as Man Utd but only control Beckham rather than the whole team.

 New features will also include a better master league that will include 4 divisions rather than 3 and also a new 'shop' feature where the points earned during training and exhibition mode, then you can buy new things such as new stadiums, crowd effects, teams, players, strategies, hair styles and new boots.

 The graphics in Pes3 has been improved so the players look more like there real life counterparts, thanks to a whole new graphics engine, they will move more realistic since KCE TYO have renewed more than 80% of the in-game animations (sweet). One of the other cool things is facial expression's that will change throughout the match so if you play well like deefer6(ed: blush!) does your players will look happy, also if you incur an injury it will show in the game e.g. if you get tackled hard and smack your head it will get bandaged up. That also goes for strapped up limbs.

 The crowd has been improved as well so if your team is doing well this will reflect on the size of the crowd that you pull in. Lets say the weather is good the crowed will dress in summer wear and if it is rainy they will wrap up warm so they have some sort of AI and dress to the appropriate conditions, now that's cool! Other new things that were said were things like the referee will play advantages in foul simulations, better AI and better ball physics.
